Anyone know how much edisto marina charges on daily slip rentals? Is it the only place that rents slips on the island? Is it pretty secure? I have a 20 ft cc. I will be there in June for a week. Never been to edisto.

Thanks.

Not sure what the rentals are, but you will be fine @ the marina. Call for their rates - have used them many times.

I am staying in a rental house about a block from the beach. What ramps are closest assuming I don't rent a slip.

Marina is closer. Live Oak is wider.

For the most part its safe and secure but i would not leave rods tackle or anything else that can be easily lifted. We had rods stolen a few years ago. Unfortunately it happens even at edisto these days.

I don't know of anyone else that rents slips on the island. Also you get charged per head to put in at live oak (i think $5/person so keep that in mind). Its a nicer ramp but probably ten minutes or so from where you are staying. If you want a change of scenery you can also put in at steamboat landing which is in the north edisto river. That ramp is about 15-20 minutes from where you are staying but there is no charge to put in.
