Got late start due to fog. Headed towards 226, stopped at the ledge and trolled out. Caught a small hoo on the ledge. Found a weed line, caught 3 dolphin on before noon. 2 more dolphin the rest of the day. Missed 3 or 4 more.
Had a planer knockdown, no fish. Seconds later a big ass marlin surfaced in the spread. It just hung there, I tried to drop a line to it, but not interested. Then it just left. Very cool to see.
Had 2 kids get their first. 1st hoo for 1. 1st dolphin and 1st offshore trip for the other.
