Tore up the whiting at Folly this morning. Fished 2 hours before low tide and two hours after. Caught 20 +. Kept about a dozen. Caught on fresh shrimp from Crosby's.

(**(), how long we're the keepers? The tourists didn't run you out? My dad and I have had the police tell us to move cause there were people swimming nearby.

I went yesterday 4/14.....it was super slow in the morning then picked up on the incoming tide. Nothing was hitting anything big, bunch of bait stealers. The blues are def moving in. Pier records right now are 8lb blue and 6lb black drum (both caught last weekend). I hooked into a 1lb 5oz pompano in the breakers on a piece of small shrimp and 3hrs later the guy beside me hooked into a 2lb 2oz pompano. So it is looking up.

We do not rise to the occassion....but fall to the level of our training

That's why I try to fish next to a groin on Folly; most idiots do not swim next to the barnacle covered rocks.

I think we were at IOP when we got moved actually. It was a while ago. I prefer IOP cause it isn't as populated. That's also where my dad and I caught a big bonnet head.

Had two or three nice ones prob 12-13 inches. Most were from 8 to 11 inches. Threw a bunch of small ones back. Also went today. Caught about 10, all small but one. Threw them all back. Also a few smalls blues. All released.

Oh, I forgot to mention in the last post but did not get run off by tourist. Got bothered a lot by them though. Fished in between two groins. Started out around 8 am. Not many people out that early, but around noon I left when I ran out of bait and it started to get crowded.
