I opted to stop fighting the wind and just be grateful to go fishing. With that in mind, I took my father today to the upper Cooper River for some striper fishing. We had the boat wet by 9am, with a low tide, overcast skies, and a slight breeze. We ended up catching at least 18 fat stripers up to 4# and 3 fat and spunky largemouth. Took a little bit to get dialed in on what the fish wanted, but by 11am we got it. The highlight of the day was watching 2 ducks swim from the water to the bank and then fly away as the stripers had pinned a large school of shad on the bank. Several egrets and herons flew over to eat the flopping shad that had taken refuge on the land. Ended the day with a father-son double of 3# stripers. Back at the landing at 12:30pm.

God is GOOD!! ALL the time!! The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything.
