I have checked the fishing reports online on guides websites and the dnr website; they are helpful. I was thinking about visiting the lake myself with family and friends but am concerned about the water level. The kids like to swim and I think it is all around better when the levels are not so low. Does anyone know what the water clarity is like right now and is it pretty nasty if you are parking your boat anywhere besides a floating dock? We might go to Murray or Jocasee-still pondering. Thank you.

Try fishing cut herring on the bottom cast from bank, you will catch stripers, hybreds and cats both day and night try anywhere from 2 to 20 ft.

Water level at Clark Hill is higher now tha in past two years. They are still equalizing with upstream lakes, but it is much, much better than last summer.
