ah, what politics? IT's a fishing tournament that raises money for Autistic kids? Just say you don't have time to come and quit yer belly aching. Anyways the weather is was good, the winds is starting to pick up and the winds is suppose to be 20 MPH tournament day. There is Kayakers out everywhere and kayaks on roofracks, truck beds and everything in between. It's gonna be a hoot, politics and all!

Tommy - I am really curious to what the politics and drama are. You being a leader in the industry hate to hear your not going.

Good luck to the other SC guys making the trip!

No its politics. There is no belly aching! I am also not going this year becuase of the BULL**** Hogan pulled on several well respected anglers including their childern and families. I did not ask for my money back and I hope they raise a ton of money to support their cause. If Hogan can not support the growth of the sport of kayak fishing and realize that he is not bigger than the sport itself I may never fish this tournament again. It is a shame!!!!!

Carter echoes my sentiments exactly. Kogan has taken an extreme position against several people that I admire and respect.

He pissed me off 2 years ago when he told me to take off my Kayak Bass Fishing hat before I stepped on the podium for awards. I got over it.

This year he banned fellow Hook 1 Crew members and their families for piss ant reasons. I'm done with ANYTHING he touches. I sent Daniel Foundation a check.

I'm just trying to get all the fishing in before the restless nights of no sleep and changing diapers and feeding time. Saturday i'm rushin home to fish all day for Cobia on sunday at the Broad river. Guys have been killing it there will 3-4 catches for a couple of hours of fishing. I love me some lemon fish to eat!

I'll represent SCkayakfishing with my T-shirt i got from you!

You guys have fun down there. There is no place else where you'll find 400+ yak fishermen in one place sharing good times.
This was a personal decision to support my teammates.
