Anyone have any thoughts/experience with an after market t-top on a 191 bay scout? Have read mostly good reviews of the fishmaster tops and they meet the budget. They also fold down for storage under our house.

Concerns on performance of the boat aside from casting? Wife wants shade for her and the kid and I'm not a huge fan of bimini tops.

Thanks for reading!

Ive got a fishmaster on my 172 scout and I love it......once you get used to casting around it (not that hard), its great. Definitely gives off plenty of shade for me too.

consider a buggy top(smaller than a T Top), I've seen a few that Carolina Custom Rigging has done on some pathfinders and they looked real nice, even better, they were removable.

Looks good farmdawg! I'm seriously considering it. If I get one, I'll post some before/during/after pics.

x2 on the fishmaster, got one on my 17cc. It has been there since July, and I have over 1000 trailer miles, and plenty of boat on the water time. Its a bay type 17cc, so it doesn't cut waves well, so the boat takes a beating if its windy out, and the T Top has done just fine.

Not a scout, but a proline bay boat. Best thing I've ever added I think.
