Coach, whats up. You guys fish this weekend? We went Sat, had a rough slow day, only came home with 3 dolphin.

Hogg and those boys came in first with a 34 ish pound dolphin and Coleman Farr was second with a 25 ish. I don't know about the two fish aggregate, etc. but no wahoo were caught and I don't think many people weighed in. I talked to Bax, he fished with Colemann, said they came in second in the two fish aggregate as well. They fished the Bennet's Point tournament too and came in first in that one.

Did you guys do any good last weekend?

Hey Will, I had the State track meet Saturday, so no fishing. Caught 16 phins on that Sunday that I invited you. 42 was the biggest, had a 35 and 5 in the upper twenties as well. Wish we were in the tournament on that day. I am finished with track and can swing about any day until June. let me know if you want to go.

Wish I would have made it . . . thats a nice haul of fish. It doesn't take too many in the twenty lb range to start filling up some freezer bags.

If the weather will chill out I am ready to go. I think Kayne can slide out on a weekday with a little notice so maybe we can get a trip up soon. I'll be in touch.

Oh, and about the squid chains, I had a similar problem before with smaller mono. Like the other guy said, I use #400 mono, and put plastic beads in the head of the squid and haven't had any problems. I use the moldcraft squid, they seem to be a little heavier duty than the rest.

Take it easy
