Fished with everyone else just inshore of 226 on a nice weedline. Really slow going. Caught 2 mahi trolling then 2 more with spinning tackle. Everyone was having a slow day trolling so we moved on to plan B. Caught some nice size triggers in 160'. On our way in we found a big school of small Dolphin. Threw everything at them but the kitchen sink but they wouldn't bite.

Did one dive in 100' and saw absolutely nothing. only a few bsb and grunts.
When i came to the surface the boat was .4 miles away. Glad i brought my handly little nautilus gps/vhf radio. when it was clear they didnt see me I just radio'ed the boat... "hey you guys want to come pick me up over here?" . handy little piece of gear.

Yes I'm trolling. Hell is freezing over.

I bought a bunch of these long rod and reel thingies, a visor, crimped mono sunglass keepers, and a few squitches. See ya on the rip

I think we have ourselves a challenger to the infamous, " Big Grouper and tiny Bikini's deep diving 4-14 " thread.

Nice dolphin and nice triggers for sure..!
