Does Savannah have a marina at the river walk area that is close to a hotel, any info would be helpful.

The Westin has a small marina area that is relatively protected. The Hyatt also has some dock space, but better for larger vessels because of all the ship traffic and wakes. I don't think I could sleep if my boat was tied up there, but I have kept it at The Westin with no problem. You would have to stay at the Westin to use their dock. There is no actual marina in downtown Savannah, there is just too much shipping traffic and it's a narrow stretch of river. Free ferry boat service from the Westin across to the riverwalk area runs about every hour until the bars close.

Edit: links are not mine
