Hey we are going to be heading down to the keys about the second week of june, and we will be trailering down our 15ft boat. We are not sure where to stay though. Ideally we would like a place near key west and close to a boat ramp. We are also trying not to spend a ton of money on a place.
Please let me know if yall know of anywhere that we could stay. Thanks for your help.

Rather than a hotel, check out VRBO.com. We use that site to find places all over FL. You are more likely to find a place to stay that will allow for your boat/trailer. We have always found a place that has dockage so you don't have to use a landing but twice. We were down there about a month ago and had a small efficiency with a dock for around 650/wk. We were 5 minutes from the Atlantic and 15 from the back country.

Stayed in two houses in the keys we found on VRBO. Both were near Marathon with a dock on a canal. I've also stayed in a house on Lake Jocassee and an apartment in New York. Every one of them has been great and kept in good shape and everything.

You may want to try Big Pine Key fishing lodge. No web page, but google will find it. They have everything from primitive camping to hotel set-up, marina and boat launch on-site, pool, about 30 miles from Key West, key deer wander through morning and night, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Definetly.. I am really excited. I will definetly report with some pictures. Im going to bring the gopro down too and shoot some videos.

We are also going to stop in Palm Beach where we have some family and stay with them and fish offshore and for some snook.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I am going to look into the Big Pine Key lodge for sure. Thanks again.
