Ok guys, I see all the videos on this site and always wanna make my own. I want a cheaper device to shoot video, not worried about still pictures they go on my phones 8.0 megapixel camera. I don't need or want the top quality. I would just mount it via a 1" PVC pole on the back of my boat to survey everything. Something easy on and off with good battery life, not 2 complicated to take and upload. Id prefer something that charges versus takin batteries. Doesn't have to be watetproof, and I just the video quality enough so that you can hear it and I wouldn't be ashamed to put it on Fb and this site and YouTube. Not a gopro too much money. Preferably under $75. I don't know if I want a video camera or camcorder or if theirs a difference.. hahaha thanks yall

I have used a Kodak Playsport with good results. Should be able to find a new one for 75. Waterproof, 1080p, tripod mount so you can fix it to your pole.

+1 on the Koday Playsport.. Takes great video. Only downside if any, is it is not wide angle like a go pro. but takes excellent video, easy to use, and cheap!

I just bought the DXG, dxg-5b1v.It's a full video camera.
AND it's water-proof to ten feet. The review's are very good on
this camera. i ended up paying around 100,but some say you can
get it cheaper online. You actually have a screen to look at,
unlike the go-pro and the like, aim and shoot.
Hope this gives you another option.
