Don't under estimate the power of this big bait this time of year.

Work it around areas that drop from shallow to deep. I caught several bass the other day with this bait. One was a monster that we got to the boat and lost it right as I was working on the net.

TIP Make sure your drag isn't too loose. My bait caster was set up for worm fishing and I think that is how the bass got the jump on me. Line wasn't tight enough. But man what a rush seeing them boil on that big bait.

I swear by it.....the bigger the bait the bigger the fish.

i've been catching 30-32" reds and nice trout on the spook jr in salt- they can't stand a mullet walking his dog :)

you're not kidding about the rush... doesn't get any better!

Huh,

Never tried them in salt water but I bet its epic. They are hitting top water now in the canals?
Water must be plenty warm.
