Left the dock just before noon, forecast was for large seas and poor weather due to the tropical storm. After three weeks of being landlocked, we decided to take a peek and see for ourselves.

Fast run out, 47 mph, just north of the hole. Flying fish were everywhere, fish breaking the water everywhere - awesome to see.

Nonstop action - anything with pink and on the surface was hit. We ended the day with ten black fin tuna, largest was 34 pounds, and three mahi - our largest mahi of the year at 37 pounds.

We lost our biggest tuna on the way in - suspect a big shark? All we landed was the head. The tuna made one last run, and that was it. Disappointing, but chalk one up for the ocean!

We lost one Wahoo as he ate through the fluorocarbon.

Thinking about the weather, we left the hole at 5.30 and arrived back at the dock at 7.15pm. We managed to stay dry the entire time!

Oh I still dream of the all day fishing trip!

Tight lines,
Jason

Well they had a trop storm warning up Monday. It was supposed to be nice Friday, then it turned nasty. Now that I look at things again, Friday may be turning back to fishable. Who the Hell knows. Really nice day there. Sorry about the weather rant.

That may be one of the biggest cows I have ever seen. Quality trip guys! Keep it up!

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.
