Any body else trying? Gonna pick ups some mud minnows from haddrells(what time do they open/). Will I be able to catch pin fish on shrimp(may sound stupid, don'y know if they come or go).

Light travel's faster than sound. This is why some people appear smart until you hear them speak.

I think they open at six. Check their website. I would go with live shrimp also if you have the means to keep them alive until you get to the pier. Expect it to be busy.

Went there today and you will have no problems catching pin fish. Probably caught a dozen of them. Also caught 1 dink trout, but it was my 1st trout there. Caugh some nice whiting and used 1 for cut bait. Soaked a pretty large piece when something took off like crazy with it. Didn't feel like a ray the way it was running and fighting but could have been. Wrapped the line around something and broke me off. The rest was the usual small fish. Fished from 3:45 to about 7 and didn't see a whole lot of other stuff caught.
