Went out to about 200ft saw a nice rip/weed line...got a couple bonita right away and one nice gaffer mahi. Picked up and went out a little deeper...just south of the 226...and it was on! While pulling in a nice bull, Noticed a big school of at least 20 dolphin following him, but down 10-20 feet. Grabbed a few pitch poles w/ naked B-hoo and reeled in a few more within the next 1/2 hour or so. Was suprised we didn't get more...because they were definitely shopping our offerings! Ended up with 12 gaffers / 2 slingers and ran back at 55 mph on an ocean of butter! Back at the dock by 3!
I woke up randomly early and check the buoy on my phone (weird habit ha) and it was blowing...must have really laid down. Glad the seas were nice for ya'll!
