What do you expert striper guys think about fishing a full moon? Mid day bite, do the fish feed all night if it's clear?

Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo.

I am no expert at all, but I believe the full moon scatters the bait across the lake and you can't draw as many bait to your lights because you are competing with the light of the moon. Last night we couldn't get bait up with our small lights on a 3/4 moon, and the guys with huge lights took longer than usual to bring them in. That plus the wind lately I believe has scattered the bait all across the lake so the chances of getting consistent keepers is going to be smaller. I am going to wait for some steady weather and a dark moon before I try night again. Gonna stick to trolling early morning and stopping around 9 am for a while. JMHO.
