Any good spots to launch a kayak in the area, looking to inshore fish. Will be in Garden City for a week and thought about hitting Little River a day or two but have never fished the area before.

Loooooong paddle if you want to fish Little River. Only suggestion I have is to get a NC license($30 for SC residents) and put in at the old Calabash landing beside Capt. Johns's. There is a ton of boat traffic, but if you fish Murrells Inlet, you would be used to that. Good luck.

You can use the landing at Cherry Grove and get in that marsh area and even into Dunn Sound when the tide is high. Can't access Little River from there though, but the area behind cherry grove is good fishing from a yak. Most boats cant get back into those creeks so the fish dont have a lot of pressure in that area once you get back in the creeks.
