Well, I thought I had heard all the names our current occupant has been called until the other day when I heard "The Anti-Christ"
used as a description.
Not being particularly well versed on the topic, I did a little research on the net. I was surprised and dismayed to read how many
facets of the AC are met in our occupant's character!
Just dam; sure hope the AC hasn't arrived here!

Agreed with Jim.
I saw online blogs refer to him as the AntiChrist shortly after the election, which was no shocker to me.
Keep in mind that John makes it clear that, even in his day (pre 100AD) there had already been many anti-christs, meaning, people who basically fit the character of the dude you see in Revelation. Those who oppose Christ.
As to whether or not the person in office right now fits that description I won't comment on, because I can't label someone being an antichrist just because I think their economics and ethics are deplorable. |

| I don't think any religious title for the skinny socialist would apply as he is a dictator who follows his religion of giving away other peoples money. Any person who would listen for twenty years to Rev. Wrong would not be an individual of any faith. |

I apologize HHI, for the disparaging comments a week or so back. I wear my politics on my sleeve, as you, and I'm very passionate about the matters at hand!! I do hope we can move on in these troubling times, and be content in solving these problems that trouble our Nation together!!!

I certainly don't like the way barry is running/ruining our country, but don't see him as the anti-christ. Now Al Gore.... that man had dead evil eyes, got to meat him on a couple of occasions, he gave me the creeps.

On the subject of Anti-Christ, most interpretations are he will be a dictator/massachist type "dragon". Totally incorrect; hw will be a charismatic world revival savior, claiming to BE Christ, NOT against Christ. The correct Greek translation is "instead of" not anti-Christ. You guys will cetainly agree with one aspect he shares with A/C, the real one will give ALL the wealth to the people, not just part ofit in order to make himself look more like Christ than a man. He also will promise to be here to "take you away" ala rapture theory. Prosperity and peace like the world has NEVER known, and a "chicken in every pot", sound familiar? I believe Obama is a predecessor to prepare us for the real one; because when reelected he will bring a form of world peace through the United Nations. As Gotcha states "God is in control", NOT Obama, so stop giving ANY man so much credit in world affairs. God has always used man for His purposes including writing His word The Bible, He will continue His pattern which promises some interesting suprises including yes great miracles by A/C which make the WHOLE world [except God's VERY elect] worship him as the Christ come to rapture them away. The churches are preparing people for the A/C by teaching we will be raptured away BEFORE A/C comes on the scene; thus when he comes the world will think he IS the Christ coming to take us away. THAT my friends is the REAL danger in the near future , not whether Obama is reelected or not. Barack Hussein Obama is merely a minor puppet in the overall scheme of things, contrary to his belief.
TheUnited States will get what it deserves good or bad like the rest of the world. We have placed ourselves in line for a downfall with all our immoralities and trampling on God in the schools and courts.
Gotcha will need to answer your replies, if possible, because I don't have access to internet constantly. I will check in occasionally to reply if needed, have a great day and have no fear if you love the Lord and make Him your stronghold in time of trouble........

Thanks, Fred; all is well except for the Repubs wanting to eliminate Social Security as an "entitlement" program. That one platform will allow Obama to be reelected if not others.
I am thankful this post did not receive a barrage of nasty replies as I expected. You Fred and Sternline, jimislander, redfish Matt, and rwl have good interpretations of the A/C; I would suggest you read 2 Thessalonians chapter2 completely, and Mark chapter 13 completely.
Just be aware of the first seal of Revelation chapter 6 showing a rider on a white horse [like jesus will ride] with a bow in his hand not a rod as jesus will carry. This will be the false Christ coming before the real Christ as stated before, and he will be of great beauty like Christ [not appearing as a dragon]; and will have great charisma[giftings] from God to deceive those weak believers as the Word says God will send strong delusion to cause them to believe the lie.
