Thought I posted this earlier but somehow did not post it

Took hunting buddy of mine trolling Friday am and headed to one of my favorite starting points, where Sadlers Creek comes into main channel

Marked fish at 30-40' and had 4 lines out, tow on downriggers and two leadcore lines with everything from Manns stretch lures, Sebile broken back minnows and the old standby this time of year roadrunners with big trailers

Nice heavy overcast morning with good breeze and on first pass we hooked up with nice 6lber

Ended up the day with 5 fish and largest was 11lbs(with my buddy in picture) which was his biggest fish to date. I was really hoping for a 15 or larger.

I owed him a big favor for calling in turkeys for me for shots with my bow this year on his land

I think that leadcore line wore his ass out though, we had them at 6-10 colors and he did not realize how much reeling that was LOL

Pic of my "client" with his 11lber

Have you had much luck with those Sebiles?

I troll quite a bit in the mid summer and I just pulled out the downriggers last week to get the cobwebs out. I picked up a couple of the large ones over the winter to add to the arsenal, but hadn't tried them yet.

I have a small fortune tied up in Mann's stretch,Bomber CDF's, and Sebile's and even a couple of "Hartwell secret lures" Cisco kids and but 99.9% of the fish I catch trolling are on roadrunners with trailers or just plain jigs with trailers

Thinking about buying a couple of alabama rigs to troll with off the downriggers
