The folks over near Statesboro Ga. Bullock Marine are super to work with. They will do their best to get the repair covered by warranty if possible. They also do great work. You can do a google search and get the number.

I am currently rebuilding my minn kota riptide. I am not very mechanically gifted, but trolling motors are pretty simple. I spoke with Jason at Northland Marine (www.northlandmarine.com). He helped me diagnose the problem and sent me replacement parts. Prices on my parts seemed very reasonable.

I spent a while looking for a repair shop... but seems like Statesboro, Jacksonville, Charleston, and Chapin are the closest shops. Nothing here in Beaufort. I am huge fan of spending money with guys that know what they are doing, I just didn't feel like driving 5-6 hours in total for a trolling motor repair.

Give me a shout if I can help in any way.
