I found this near the public landing and the dam. its cool because you can see the tracks, the gravel bed it lays on and bait schools and stripers picking them off. a lot in this one image.

yes, it starts out near the pier that is on the west side of the lower dam, across from the public landing and heads towards the north.

I have the kmz files for google earth for anyone wanting to locate this place. Its actually a good bait atractor, I see bait there every time i pass. I made a pass today and marked the general direction and realized its the water intake of the dam, probably for cooling or something. But it looks like a train track, except the ties are too far apart for trains, so it has to be the water intake.
