How late do you think it will run? I have something going on that morning, but was going to try and run over there when I got done.

It will probably end when
A. The police are called to arrest all of us
B. Everyone passes out cold in the parking lot
or
C. When the booze is gone...

My money is on B...

Cool event and awesome shop Scotty! Thanks for having everybody out. Got my day started off right with that bloody. Here's my attempt at the fly you were telling me about...tried to tie it from memory, but feel like I left something out. Send me a pic of that fly when you get a chance.

I was the one that asked you about how to use the laser dub after scotty showed you...I gave some a try and threw them yesterday but the laser dub kept "fouling" if its tied shorter than the hook gap. If that makes any sense.
Did you stack it on your fly (clump on top then one on bottom) or did you "spin" it by placing it evenly around the hook shank then tying it in the middle and pushing the excess back over itself?
PS- try using maribou as the tail on one as well...

I just stacked it and brushed it back. It took longer than I expected for such a simple fly. You can basically do the same thing with some of the ep brushes and save a bunch of time.

Here's my version. I put the Laser dub evenly around the shank and packed it tight, then trimmed it just like deer hair.
Jay, I used EP Sparkle Brush for a collar. Agreed that EP Brush is faster, but Laser Dub packed tight makes a bulky head that should push more water, which I like in dirty water (and for Snook!).
