FWIW. Fished the mouth of Johns creek at sunrise Thursday. Marked scattered fish on the point from 35 to 50 feet. I didn't bother buying any herring since I was only going to fish an hour or two. Used a single hook jigging spoon and had several bites but only managed to hook and land one very fat 20 incher.

Good luck to everyone fishing the youth tournament tomorrow.

Thanks for the report, Jack! There is still plenty of time for the rest of the club to chime in for the youth tourny tomorrow.

Fished the cove at Providence Point Thursday morning. Lines in the water at 6:30 had a double pull down while putting out the fourth rod. A pair of 23 inch twins, caught another 23 inch fish about ten minutes later. Caught what I thought was a 10 pounder at seven but he only weighed 9lbs 4oz. At seven ten caught a 7lb 6oz. Day was done. Put the boat on the trailer and home by seven fifty-five.

I'll help out. Fished in Jake's this morning and had customers limit of 20 by 7:30. Caught fish from 40 to 45ft. Most fish were over 21 inches with biggest around 7 lbs.
