Fished South Edisto for trout recently, and used those new Trout Tricks found at Hadrell's. Tried DOA, live shrimp as well, and those Trout Tricks caught 3 to 1 over other baits. There is a technique to it. Package gives good directions, but fails to mention that the bait should be cast upstream in order for the bait to fall straight down. The bite is a reaction bite. Caught four in one spot on Trout tricks and fish wouldn't touch live shrimp???

Great job and report, Capt Huff. You are absolutely right and I have been remiss in not pointing out TroutTricks (and most lures) should be thrown up current and worked back with the current. This does aid in the fall (critical) and results in a more natural presentation. Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention. Bob
