Are you aware that in order to become a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain you must be trained in CPR and you are required to take a refresher class every two years? This is one government regulation that I agree with 100%. If you think about it, weather you are fishing in the harbor or 50-miles offshore, if you are on a boat with others, you will be a first responder. Just like all other forms of medicine CPR is constantly evolving so it is imperative to stay fresh and up to date on your skills. Are you familiar with the latest version of CPR known as hands only and what does the Bee Gees hit song mentioned in the title have to do with any of this? Check out this video from the American Red Cross and you will see. Watch the video, share it with your family and friends; you never know when you may be called to action to help save a life.
