I took my nephew flounder gigging last Friday night. He said" Uncle Rick this is like caveman fishing." I told him I didn't think caveman had deep cycle batteries and lights but other than that he was close. I pushed and he was up front. We saw several small ones to start off. He started seeing them pretty quick after I pointed a couple out. After he stuck about 3 he said " Uncle Rick I LIKE this caveman fishing. We had a great time and he is hooked. He lives in Augusta but he said he is ready to come at any time for some more caveman fishing. i showed him an app for his phone for the tides so now he's calling and telling me when the tide will be right again. I love it.
I agree with SFL...those sure are some purty toes for a caveman Good job getting your nephew out there. Gigging has been one of may favorite things to do since I was a kid with an old Coleman white gas lantern and tin foil.
