In celebration of 1 month -1 day I got a new net! I am going to try that bait binder this year so I don't have to deal with meal and clay mess.

I think some of us should go together and buy a case of those restaurant style plastic 2 quart containers for freezing them.

I bought a new freezer I have such high expectations. I better catch some or I'll never hear the end of it at home.

Is your boats' name Jenny?

I have clearance from the boss man to take what time I need from work to go shrimping. I got my chest freezer cleaned out last week. Depending on deer season, I may need 2 freezers.

If I shoot a hog too, I will have the ol' South Carolina 3 meat treat freezer.

the good thing about Bait Binder is there are no tricks at all to it...everything you need is already in the can (well except for the water)...just be careful you don't mix too much of it for that day's shrimping...I make my balls about the size of a lime or lemon and flatten them so they don't roll around on the bottom...after that night's batch is made up I dunk them in water then set out to dry for a few minutes...this really sets them up to last a while in the water...the last few years I have used those red plastic Folger's coffee cans that hold 3lbs of coffee...that much Bait Binder is enough for about a trip and a half for me, but I take a whole can's worth in case something happens or we have to move...those switching from meal/clay mix will have a really hard time trying to convince themselves that the small bait balls will catch as many shrimp as the planet-burger size balls of the mix...trust me, they can and do...
I don't care what kind of bait you use if the shrimp aren't there or you are not hitting your balls with the net, your catch will be greatly reduced...
now, how to convince Bait Binder that they need to rename the product to "Bonzo's Bait Binder" tee hee tee hee...

That seems to be the going price for it. I was in West Marine getting oil the other day and they had a pallet of the big bag o' bait binder. I got a bag and it was 23.99

Haddrells is supposed to get it at the end of the month. That is what they said when I picked up my new net.

I am excited. I have a friend that is letting me use his dock right on the ICW across from Bulls Bay. Its 5 mins to get in the bay. I am going up this weekend to tool around with him in the boat. Gonna mark a lot of stuff on the chart plotter.

depends on how many blue colas it took us to get to the shrimpin' grounds...and whether Baitman is with me or not...
