I RAN from the place last Thursday. That is the end of the story. Well.... besides calling girlfriend and telling her to come over asap to go shrimping and that I missed her VERY much after all the traumatic events from earlier in the evening.
I know of 3 women that may return this Thursday. I am going to wear a disquise this time. ...or something.
Funniest memory I have of last Thursday is when I was pounding the 5th or 6th miller lite.... the look on Big Al's face as I was attempting to avoid someone's constant advances. Kind of a look of "just dam*" as Stretch says.

I was told that Horndogchicken boy was gay... which provoked the skin graft surgeon comment. Kenner18 was saying that I must have been gay.......... No. I was afraid. VERY afraid. There are just some things I don't mess wid!

Actually I've done abit at the jail........
Horndogchicken Boy was onto Lisa week before last. He has the same type of personality as our lady "friend" I offered to buy Big Al a shooter. He couldn't cause the boss was at the bar. So HDCB......"I'll drink it..." Never offered to buy. Needless to say, I ignored him. Al just got that look....

I was thinking of dropping in next Thursday night but with between having my oldest daughter with me and rhe direction of the last few post about said gatherings has me thinking it will be a very early and very short drop-in .
coryphaena, look at the winners circle post Stretch pulled up for you and do a search under "team same colored shirt tournament results" or something close to that under the Fishing Discussion forum and you will find more posts/pics/comments on the tournament.
Speaking of tournaments. I know there was some talk about making the 2nd PUOSU tourney later in the year when it is a little cooler and the boat traffic a little thinner. Dare I suggest that we have a spring and a fall tourney? Maybe a spring in late April or early May and a fall in September? Keep the entry fee low so more people can participate while still paying for some kind of t-shirt and similar pay-out for the same 4 categories of fish. I use the word tournament loosely since I would guess most of us don't care about the payout but more about an excuse to get together and have a "scheduled" day of fishing. Hope I haven't tepped on big dog's toes by making this a topic for discussion. Would do whatever I could to help with arrangements. Any discussion?
Stretch, flats, sharkin, Wando Grill, and whoever else I have met. Looks like I'll finally make it down 19th/20th to fish if anyone wants to try and wet some lines together. Will be staying in Mt P but "have boat, will travel" wherever the fish are.

I'm also game for fishing the days you're down here. I'll meet you in the harbor or wherever and we can cover some water...if you're fishing by yourself I'll ride w/ you if you want.
Keep me updated mein.

Ok. So what y'all are saying is not even wait for Spring but a trout only tourney in November? Low entry fee, payout for biggest trout only, Saturday before Thanksgiving or 1st Saturday in December (based on the most votes of who can fish which day), and needing some "trout tourney" shirt. If so, someone start a new "Trout Tourney" thread and we will let the participants call the day. I hope I can make it but that month has filled up in a hurry.

Whatever the date...I'm all over it. 1st weekend in dec. might be better for alot of us. It'll give us more time to clear that weekend.

Anyone else coming to SCB&G tonight to discuss the particulars of this trout tourney? As I mentioned in the other thread, I can't do the first wknd in Dec. date.
Luke, the best time to get out of the house will be in the first few weeks! The baby will just be asleep all the time then if all goes well. Hope everything goes smoothly. Enjoy it!
