Went to check boat this a.m. and it was so calm, I decided to go throw some spoons at the spanish. Caught three and relesed an then realized that some friends may need them for tourney this weekend. Kept next one for Capt Harry. Good luck Petrel. Fish caught on spoons near the castle between 830a and 915a. All fish between 16 and 20 inches. |

that's very true. I don't think I'm able to play Friday, the yard's looking pretty unruly after being out of town last weekend, it needs a good afternoon.
A guy I know told me that they had a wahoo hooked up in teh harbor the other week. Maybe they were following the smacks.
Chick beer. I was drinking an Amstel on 23's boat in a picture and got called out on it. Wonder what they would call Warsteiner.

Sux about friday...all looks good. Yeah im thinking Warsteiner may get me a NAZI....nevermind. maybe next week. Wahoo in the Harbor, U never know!?! Stranger things have happened. We chased bonita or little tunny in the channel last week, and there were other large critters eatin them. Need to get u a Jack this year bouyeee! |

flatcaster, it is tough drinking other, REAL, beers. Break out a Bud in Europe, where they invinted the stuff, and see what happens, you will get your @ss kicked. I get called out ALL the time here in Texas for not drinking Bud. I will buy a round of real beer for ya at Condon's when I get in, should be in Sept.

I went out to the castle monday and tuesday on the falling tide with a blue glass minnow and a green one trying to catch some spanish and got skunked both days. Then I went to dynamite hole with mullet and minnows and got skunked. Then I went to two spots in the Ashley and got skunked.
I suck at this.
If anybody knows where some fish are I've got a boat, gas, rods, dock, tackle, and can catch bait if you wanna make a trip maybe Friday morning.

Lowcountry, I think I might have some advice that could help. Ill try to send u an email.
Penny dahlin, are yall fishin the coastal tournament on Saturday. If so lets meet up for a harbor lunch. Perhaps i should keep some of my opinions to myself though. Especially here! BTW, i will be targeting flounder, spanish, kings, jacks, blues, blacks and red drum, trout, sheepshead, and.......did I forget something.....oh yeah, my favorite table fare dog fish. Hopefully Ill catch a stingray so I can make scallops!  |

I.m just going to sit back and eat my lunch...take in a few rays and then steal all your dang fish when it comes time for the weigh in.....btw...what are the 12 "other" species and when is the weigh in time??? We are planning on fishing it...forecast looks a little iffy ...wanted to go to my top secret "no body but 100 other people know about spadefish hole"...my plan is to run there...then troll to my black fish spot..then hit the jetty's for a sheep...then run to mccl. and pick up a nice fat trout and ...then up the stono for a red...back to the wando for a flounder....how much gas do you think i'll need and can i go all those places in my boat you think ...call me....really

Lets take up a collection and buy Flats a real beer! Penny, your plan should only cost about $324 in gas. Your money may be better spent buying lotto tickets!  Oh yeah, lines in at 12:01am, weigh in I believe is from 4- 5:30pm. |
