The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission minimizes the maintenance cost at the landings by implementing a "Pack It in, Pack It Out" litter control program at all 19 sites. All trash receptacles have been removed from the boat landings and boaters are asked to take their trash with them when they leave the facility.
