The Bite is still on.

Hit the same structure today on the Wando as last week where I caught 50plus Reds. Interesting day with the bite somewhat different but bascially followed the same pattern as before with the reds schooling and feeding aggressively on the outgoing tide. Tide rolling big time with the new moon coming and lots of debris in water but cleard up after the first 3 hours of the tide change. Caught 4 nice trout on MMs averageing 16" under a cork with 3 upper slot reds in the first 2 hours of outgoing then they turned on big time again hitting on almost every cast. No 50 but at least 35. Most upper and over slot. The reds once again would not touch anything under a cork but feeding on the bottom. Started out with MMs on a jig head but switched to arties when the bite turned on. Gulp jerk baits in white and saphire shine, scented 4" Zman Houdini paddletails and gulp ghost and regular shrimp. Great day on the water. Hopes this keeps up.

“In every species of fish I’ve angled for, it is the ones that have got away that thrill me the most, the ones that keep fresh in my memory. So I say it is good to lose fish. If we didn’t, much of the thrill of angling would be gone.” Ray Bergman
