A GREAT first year

Year one is on the books and we are ready to start 2012 running. Our first meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 11th, @ 6:30 p.m. at Miler Country Club in Summerville. A table for new members and renewals will be up and running at 6:00 p.m.

We will have a winterization/boat maintenance seminar by Berkeley Outdoors, including a Q&A table to answer boaters specific questions. Ralph Phillips will also deliver one of his spirited seminars on a low country tradition - shad fishing!

Finally, plaques will be awarded to our youth and adult Angler of the Year and an outline for 2012 club activities will be offered.

Below are some images of 2011!

We had some great meetings and seminars!

Fred Bircketto on tarpon

Mike Waller on sheepshead

Stephen Fields on general in-shore techniques

Daniel Nussbaum with Z-man on whats new and hot!

Ralph Phillips & Mike Able on how to find fish! Both gave valuable advice on many topics throughout the year, including deep hole shrimping, targetting trout, and more!

Dr. Kay Phillips on the mission and importance of Dorchester Childrens Charities

Newly elected Summerville mayor Bill Collins talked about his fishing adventures and what he hoped to do in his 40 year term replacing Berlin G. Meyerswink.

We had tournaments and awards!

And we had a bunch of fun!
