Thanks Guys… We prefished Friday without a single bite. At 11:00 on Saturday we still did not have a fish in the boat. Finally wrestled the big one off a stump a little after 11:00 at over 27lbs, and had two other nice fish around 1:45 to cap it off. It wasn’t pretty, but persistence paid off for us. Fortunately we won first place and big fish… This was an open tournament put on by the Clarks Hill club in support of DNR. They ended up donating $450.00 of the pot to them, so it was all for a good cause.

woohoo nice fish! Did ya’ll cover any ground to eventually get them or did you pound a secret honeyhole to till you finally made them bite? Good Job fellas!

Team Shad Up & Fish

If you’ve had fun catching fish on the transom bait, you are welcome…

I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…

We covered a lot of ground Friday searching. Saturday we stayed in the one small area that we felt good about and worked it hard. Unfortunately our honey hole was not producing on Friday, so we didn’t go back there Saturday as much as we wanted to. Can’t believe we showed that much patience… Dang Fog, we do look a lot alike. Brothers from different mother I guess. I didn’t know Bryan looked that good…
