Vet in west Ashley

Ole Roscoe has a lump that needs to be checked out and possibly removed. Who is the best bet for pet surgery around West Ashley? I’m trying to stay away from the big pet smart type places.

Thanks

Patrick Vet Clinic downtown is one of the best around. Worth the trip IMO.

Try Bees Ferry Vet,we have had good dealings with them.

Double D.

Kind of fond of Bryan Cribb at South Windemere.

John Bradford (Animal Care) on Savannah highway! We have been going to him with our dogs for over 25 yrs. He has gruff Citadel demeanor but is a really caring vet who is genuinely concerned about our pets. His daughter Katie, runs the office and you’ll often find his wife (Trish) helping out and the grandkids coming in and out of the office. And his fees are reasonable.

2nd Dr Patrick

I use Air Harbor on Sav Hwy. Drs Southard are great!

Dr Patrick is really good. Dr. Brock has a very nice clinic at the Hwy 17 & Main Rd intersection by the Publix.

Patrick is the best. No appointments so try to arrive at a time when everyone else is at work. By far the cheapest service I’ve ever had.

Dr. Patrick is half the price of other clinics and twice the service. They make you feel like they really care. We have been to Bees Ferry where it cost $200 to walk in the door.We went to the other one on Savannah highway about the same cost as Bees Ferry and lie Bees Ferry they are always trying to up sell you something and then make you feel guilty because you don’t feel it necessary to spend $400 on something the pet doesn’t need.
I took my cat to Dr. Patrick last month she got into a fight and had a deep infected wound on the top of her head swollen the size of a golf ball and it caused her jaw to look like she had the mumps. They drained the infection, cleaned the wound, and gave her two antibiotic shots. The cost was $60. She is like new!

People will forget what you said…
People will forget what you did…
But people will never forget how you made them feel.

Yeah- I took my GSP to Bee’s Ferry when he had parvo as a puppy. $350 just to walk in the door every time. After about a grand in, they said they wanted to try a parvo snap test for an extra $60. Test came back negative, but dr. proceeded to tell me it didn’t really matter since the test is usually wrong and they know he has parvo. I got pretty irate.

About 3 grand in, I had done some research and read where there were some successes with Tamiflu for fighting Parvo. While I obviously am not a vet, I thought what the hell. Doc battled with me about prescribing it saying it wouldn’t matter, finally prescribed it. Low and behold, 2 days later MASSIVE improvement.

After all that, a female tech that obviously disliked men comes in with all these pamphlets about neutering my dog. When I told her I wasn’t even considering that decision given I had just emptied my s
