Does anybody freeze blue crabs whole for use as bait? I’m curious how well they would work versus fresh ones and how long they keep in the freezer.
I’ve done it at least once. I believe I caught a bull red or two if i remember correctly. I had it frozen for a couple months.
Great for non-finicky cobia…and Tarpon. Scratch the cobia.
