Sunday N. Edisto

Caught the incoming tide on Sunday morning, before the big boomers moved in. Fished along the grass near the mouth of a couple of feeder creeks coming in to the N. Edisto. Tried minnows, live finger mullet and live shrimp. Shrimp was the preferred bait. Caught several underisized trout, bonnet head, sting ray and the special treat…16in. triple tail! Quite a surprise to say the least!

Nice! The only TT i’ve seen was in that general area. I thought it was a floating log in the grass. Pitched to it, hooked it, ran under the boat, spit hook :frowning:

That’s interesting, since the only previous triple tail that I caught was just about a year ago and it was along the grass near White Point landing, in the same general area. Threw that one back since, at the time, I didn’t know what it was!

That’s a goodun for sure! Congrats
