I guess you’re not doing the one and done. what flavor you getting?

I am fragile. Not like a flower. But like a bomb.

22 life’s a day

Got my first one in January my second 18 days later (Pfizer). My oldest son works in a hospital so he has had both (Pfizer). My wife has been trying to find a slot for the J&J but has been unable to so she goes next week for her first Moderna. The only “effects” we felt were a sore arm and some minor fatigue the day after the 2nd shot.

"Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It's Hand", but really, who cares?

My mother in law, 70, had some stomach issues a day or two after the second shot. Throwing up and whatnot. Father in law, 70, got both of his shots with no issues. My mother has one shot so far with the next one coming in a week or so. No issues.

The wife and I still haven’t decided on if we should get ours. I put off the flu shot for a lot of years…until I got really sick with it one year. Now, I’m first in line. Its just hard to blindly trust the judgement of the government…on any subject…ever. I mean, isn’t this the beginning plot of World War Z?

I’m out. I prefer my immunity the old fashioned way.

My wife and I had ours Saturday. We ended up finding through a smaller pharmacy called Delta. They were issueing the Johnson and Johnson, one and done shot. My symptoms were relatively mild with my hand swelling up, and hurting in the same arm I got the vaccine. The pharmacist recommended getting it in non dominant arm. My wife on the other hand, who is a pretty tough gal, was bed bound for a day. She developed a fever, head ache, and uncontrollable shivering. All our symptoms disappeared within 24 hrs. The only permanent damage I suffered was a curvature to my Johnson and Johnson. It has substantially improved my hook up rate at home and both the wife and I are happy with the results. I have already gotten loving 3 times this year which is 2 times more than the whole of last year:+1: Good luck DoubleN. I’m tired of bad hair cuts.

Had both of mine. No problems at all.

Gonna skip getting injected with experimental genetic modifications (gene therapy) mRNA protein spiker which never provides immunity.

I prefer spiking my own proteins to immunity via diet, exercise, sunshine and free air exposure.

Hope there remains a choice without a required mandated proof paper.

Had both of mine, Pfizer. No issues at all. My wife got her first one of the Pfizer on Saturday without any issues. No hesitation on getting the shots on our part. The more people that get the immunization the sooner we can all get back to ‘normal’ life. The longer it takes for everyone to get immunized the more time the virus can spread and potentially mutate into more virulent forms. Don’t hesitate, no reason to. The vaccines have been proven to be safe and efficacious. :+1:

My wife is a nurse and was able to get hers quickly (Pfizer). 10 days after her SECOND shot, lost her sense of smell and tested positive.

I tend to be a pessimist and I don’t trust the powers that be. If it gets to the point where I can’t even go in a grocery store without proof of having been vaccinated or maybe after several years of testing them, I might get it. Until then, I’ll pass…

Its certainly up to the individual. Its none of my business, but I’m curious to know what age everyone is compared to their stance on the vaccine. The old I get, the less and less I trust anything that our government says. One of the contributing factors of my father’s death at 64 was due to added complications from Agent Orange in the Army, which the government said was safe…until they didn’t.

How can you prove a new vaccine for a new virus is safe over the long term?

My wife told me yesterday she is thinking of getting since she is starting to do onsite classes at hospitals again for continuing education. She will be more & more ecposed to healthcare providers so her risk will increase. I myself don’t plan on getting it until sometime down the road & if all you guys don’t die or become vegetables from it. Ha…
We are both in agreement that the kids will not get it.

Ricky, agree on being individual choice. I’ll be 59 in July, all Labs came back good recently. My sister, which is two years older was on vacation couple months ago in Fla. got it. She was in bad shape for couple of days to the point she thought passing would be better. Nonstop dry heaves, pneumonia with severe abdominal pain. Fever never got over 100.8.

In closing, the older I get, the less I trust the Gov’t. But, the older I get, the more I’m likely to croak from Covid. Let’s all hope the vaccines work with NO issues now or later.

Also, many younger folk’s won’t take it due to reports of fertility issues…young and healthy don’t seem to need it anyway unless compromised in so

Thanks for posting Dr. Faucci!!

Didn’t realize you lurked here?:+1:

Runbaby for the win. Lmao.

Got my call a couple days ago from the va that I’m eligible. Holding off.

The government messed me up on the first round of anthrax vaccine that turned out to not be safe after a mass rush. I don’t want to be part of this first round of mass clinical trials. No way clinical trials were done in 6 months. Hopefully everyone that has been feared into getting vaccinated will be fine. Most of my family included.

Y’all remember any vaccine in the past has taken years of clinical tests to be released and even then when it’s given to the masses issues are found.

Pretty sure y’all cock fans will be more than 6’ apart anyway. Even with Covid gone, lol.

You’re probably more right than you know. Its going to be another rough couple of years.
