I just got a great deal on a Native Watercraft Marvel 12 w/ $100 paddle and other accesories for $500 and will be heading out on my first kayak expedition in about 3 weeks. Is a flag or visible signal required on kayaks in the creek? Any other tips on what to do or bring are greatly appreciated.
PFD and whistle are all that’s required during daylight. A white light visible from 360 degrees is required at night. A flag is just a good idea.
