Our New Boat

We finally broke down and did it. We bought a boat. A 225 Sea Hunt Triton.

Here are some pics at the dealership. They are still putting electronics and other stuff on it. We will take delivery after the first of the year.

A big thanks to David Perry at Marine Service Center in Murrell’s Inlet for all of his help.

Congrats on your new ride.

Double D.

Great choice, I have a Sea Hunt & love it, Dry ride.

Sweet rig!

Nice! Good Job!

Thanks everyone! We are really excited about the soon to come warm weather.

Yamaha 250 hp!!! Does that mean we’re talkin about a 50mph boat???

Dorado - Yeah, it can run pretty dang fast. It may not do 50, but at least mid 40’s. I don’t know if you would want to get your teeth rattled out by running it like that. Only time I could imagine opening it up like that would be if we were too stupid to get home before bad weather rolled up on us.

When we were looking at what motor to get, someone told my husband “No one every wishes they had less horsepower” and Sea Hunt said the boat could definately handle that motor. So that is what we picked.

BIGGER is better…:wink::smiley:
