Took groups out Friday and Saturday. Headed south to the 550 line Friday and worked between 300 and 400 ft. Slow morning but it picked up toward late morning. Ended up with 14 nice gaffers.
On Saturday headed to the 300 line. Had two Blue Marlin hit at nearly the same time early, of course the biggest one hit the 30… Rookie angler managed to get back about 3/4 of the line, but broke the line trying to muscle the fish in. The other marlin spit the hook on the 50. Had a 3rd chance in the afternoon again. Ended up with a 13 Mahi including a 40 pounder that we weighed in at the docks for the SCSSA tournament.
