I have 2003 Sea Pro with a 2002 Johnson 115 4 stroke. I have developed a chattering noise (if you will) coming from the throttle box. It is intermittent and stops if I engage the trim (either direction). Then will start again when I release the trim switch.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. TIA.
nothing in the control box to “chatter”

Any chance it could be a temperature alarm? The stream seems a little weak at idle.
The noise sounds almost like a solenoid chattering, but gets more intense. It does stop, at least temporarily, if i engage the trim though.
IM AFFRAID I HAVE TO GUIDANCE WITHOUT SEEING THE PROBLEM
