Shrimping- after hurricane

Wanting to make a trip down to Georgetown or McClellanville to do some shrimping but am not local so i dont want to just waste a weekend. Im concerned that all the fresh water has made the shrimp go deeper. Does anyone have any idea if the shrimp are still in the marsh areas and shallow or if they are for certain gone to deep water?? Any help would be great so i can plan a trip!

I’d be more worried about pollution runoff up there right now…

Went Friday - Bulls Bay and Cowpens. Nothing in BB but didn’t try very hard due to rough water. Re-located to Cowpens. Got 1/3 in a couple of hours. Probably could have gotten 1/2 if we had not wasted time in BB. Shrimped incoming.

Georgetown is unshrimpable currenlty.

I am hearing much the same. South of the Santee, not bad. North? fugedaboudit.
