1st report

7/27 out near Ft. Sumpter in about 30 feet of water, last hour of outgoing tide and this glorious beauty mashed my manhayden. Quickly got him in the boat, unhooked snapped the picture and back with a clean release. Life is good! I hope the picture is sized correctly, 1st time post.

Awesome job!

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Great Job!!! And good report!

Congrats on the beautiful catch & release! How did you rig up? You won’t get any critique from me. I’m just trying to become a better angler.

Thanks everyone, we have been lurking/learning for a while, thought we should try to contribute something.

As far as our set up, nothing real special, just a basic Carolina Rig. The current was really ripping prior to the tide shift, we started with 5 oz of lead and had to go to 8oz to keep in on the bottom. Not sure how much detail your looking for Fly, I hope this answers your question.
