Wando/ Cooper Trout - YS

Took the oldest youngen on the Wando and Cooper today in hopes of finding trout. Not a skunk but a lot of casting with little numbers to show for the hard work. We would find a single trout about every 300 yards in the places we fished and I thought to myself why is this??? Well when you see boats anchored up on what generally produces fish this time of year the answer became clear. Not to mention the same guys trolling through productive areas 3 and 4 passes before we even get to it. Managed to lose about a 3 lb. Pompano way up the upper Wando as well. Highlight of the day was releasing a trout to have 3 hungry dolphins hunt it down then I told my youngen lean over the boat and splash the water. Low and behold she got to touch one’s bottle nose :+1:
