Had some Honey do and vehicle problems plus had to await tide change so I took care of business and hit the landing around 2:30 and once I got setup the bite was awesome until the sun went down. 3 tagged reds 23" to 26" several trouts and 6 flounders
Made a past through my area a second time having a feeling a flounder or two was laying up near the grass and to my surprise hit them cast after cast until I left that spot. Appears they were stacked up in a cove where calm waters flow evening though the tide was pushing. Trolled to the grass where the motor was acting as an anchor and fished the cove vigorously and once I felt pressure laided that rod down for a couple minutes and fished another and they were well hooked with those trout eyes. Perfer fishing those in grassy area instead of structure because of the stiff hooks verses the wire hooks. Either ways a Great evening
Had to take this photo this morning cause the battery in the camera went dead. This live well with an aerator does great to keep everything alive. I love this boat inspite of purchasing the wrong trolling motor.
