Fished the outgoing Saturday morning. Current was swift with clear water. Some of my regular spots already had a boat on it and others had no fish. Finally found the fish on a new spot I’d scouted before but never fished. Ended up with two nice trout, one over 15" and another over 16", got a few small ones to the boat as well. All hit the same Zman Paddlerz in sexy mullet on a trout eye. Water temperature was 57 pretty much everywhere I went.
Good to get back out there after a month of bad weekend weather, broken trolling motor and out of town commitments.
