Folly River Weekend!

Went down to Folly River for some Thanksgiving fishing and oysters.
The Wife and I had a great trip.The fishing was outstanding and nothing
like steaming a grill full of fresh oysters when taking a break from fishing.
We caught some beautiful over the slot drum, one having 9 spots my personal
best if counting spots. The trout were on fire also. We caught all fish including
a flounder on artificial using trout eye jig heads. Some were under popping corks
in 1’-2’ of water and when the bite slowed down switched up and used jig head
with no cork in 5’-6’ of water. I pulled out some older baits form my bag that i
have had for a while. We caught all our fish on D.O.A. C.A.L. Cal series shad and
Cal-Shad RB/Chart and a few trout on good ole ZMan Ralph’s shad trout tricks.

Congrats on a great trip…and thanks for the nice photos. Making memories is what it’s all about.
My weekend wasn’t nearly as productive, but I had fun nonetheless.
