Has any been to Mazatlán Recently? Any comments or advice? Did you fish lake el Salto? Going for a couple days of fishing.
Day 1: Bass fishing at lake el Salto (elsatlolodge.com there are a couple outfits appeared fairly comparable). 3 plus guide in boat me and two friends. Still managed 40+ bass boated EACH. Largest 8.5, several around 5#, a good number of 2-3# fish.
No fish on day 2
Day 3: we went 3 out of 4 on striped marlin (70-90# range), 12-15 miles out.
