I go to C of C and I just returned from break with my shotgun and boat ready to hunt. Other than sticking my boat in some river and running around till I find some ducks (which Is the extent of coastal duck knowledge). I am an experienced hunter from up near Union SC but the coast is different. im not looking for peoples special honey holes, just for some info on the best rivers or wma swamps besides Santee.

Near JI? Go try the spoil area on Morris Island,surely a few Hey-Bo’s from JI will be there as well.
Time to time I hear some shooting way off the beach,south of the cage buoys, yahoos must be gunning black scoters.

Buffle heads and Mergansers…rare for Canvas Back. I used to hunt them in the creeks. You can put out liter coke bottles painted black and they’ll come look for a pass shot.
Mostly pass shooting versus duck hunting. Depends how bad you got the bug. Very few Yahoos hunt ducks in the ocean.
